9 Months!

OH NO! I just realized I didn't do an 8 month post...it must be because this kid is keeping me busy. First, let's get a look at this.

So, still just the two teeth! He is constantly chewing on his hand, so I'm surprised there are no more in there yet but the two he has are absolutely adorable! He crawls now, it started all of a sudden and now I can't keep him still. He crawls over to everything and pulls himself up on things. He's getting better at being able to sit down when he's done standing, he was just falling over on his head. He started waving yesterday and it is ADORABLE. Just when I thought he couldn't get any cuter. He had his 9 month appointment today and he is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 85th percentile for height. So I think he's going to be tall! We have "conversations" that crack us both up. It is crazy to me that he plays with toys and interacts with us. He is 39 weeks this week, and that is how pregnant I was when I had him. I can't believe it's gone so fast! I really wish I could freeze time for a little bit. But, I am looking forward to the future. I try to soak up the few times he falls asleep on my shoulder as much as I can. It is my favorite part of life. This for example:

ahh. The best. I just don't want him to get much bigger! I could cry thinking about how big he is already. But, so much fun so I guess that's the trade off.

We try to go to the zoo once a week, and he really loves it! He loves looking at the aquarium the best, and is loving the new bird exhibit. Also gets into the snakes. I think he likes the animals he can see up close the best. He's a handful but I wouldn't have it any other way! Here's ALL the weekly pictures since 7 months:

It is nearly impossible to keep him on his back for the picture. I'm literally sweating by the end of the photo shoot each week. We will see how the rest of these pictures go! Here are a few more pictures I'm in love with:

Tell me he's not the cutest kid on earth? Feeling a little sad tonight about what next month will bring. He's just growing up too fast!

7 Months!

I can't believe it has already been a month since I posted last! Hudson is as cute and fun as ever. He loves to sit and play with his toys (although he's still pretty wobbly! He falls over after a little bit). He flies around the house in his walker and chases the dogs. They aren't very happy about that but it sure is cute. He has 2 teeth now and by the amount of crabbing we have some more on their way! He's eating up a storm, and seems to really prefer having solids over his formula now. He's been putting up a little bit of a fight when it's bottle time! I should probably move to food 3x a day soon. (Right now he's eating Ritz crackers and yogurt drops while I type this at the kitchen table. So cute!) He's messy but doing so well. Nothing a bath can't fix! Here are his weekly shots this month:

6 Months!

Happy 6 Months Hudson!!!

I CANNOT believe Hudson is half a year old already. Everyone said it would go so fast, and it has. He is so much fun right now! I wish I could freeze him for just a little bit so he would stop growing. Here are his weekly pictures this month:

This month he is flying around the house in his walker. It is hilarious and amazing to me that he can go where he wants to. It seems like just yesterday he couldn't even see us, now he can chase us through the house. If I go into the kitchen to cook dinner, he follows me. Today I cleaned out the fridge and he wheeled up and pushed against my legs the whole time.
I've been trying to take him on a walk and to the park to swing every nice day we've had (and there have been a lot! What happened to winter and spring?) And he loves being outside. Except this day, when he was feeling like a tough guy:

We also got a zoo membership so I'm excited to take him more! We've been twice already in 2 weeks. He REALLY loves it. He loves animals so much, he's always smiling at the dogs and cats. His favorite is definitely the fish area. I cant get him to look at the camera while we're in there because he won't look away from the fish. I told Danny we should get him an aquarium for his room...which I'm sure would end up in disaster.

We also had St. Patrick's Day  this month, so had to send out cards of course...here's my favorites from that shoot:

He's so cute! And so much fun. I think I need to be pinched, he's so easy and funny. I'm so excited to see what he's doing next month!
